At Community Meeting #4 on July 19 concept designs for the new Lubber Run Community Center and Park were presented by VMDO, Inc. architects. If you were unable to attend the meeting or have more to share, the feedback activities that were conducted at the meeting are now on-line and can be found here. The survey will be available until August 11, 2017. You can share general feedback on the vision, project and process.
On July 18, the County Board awarded a $39,960,000 Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract to the James G. Davis Construction Company for pre-construction and construction management services for the New Lubber Run Community Center. The Board also deferred the action to endorse the final concept design until their September County Board meeting. This deferral will enable the process as laid out at the May 17 community work session #3 to be completed. Read the County’s press release.
