The next meeting of the Buckingham Community Civic Association (BCCA) will take place on Monday, September 11, 2017, in the ground floor meeting area of The Carlin (4300 N. Carlin Springs Road), beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The main topics will be the following:

• A presentation by Peter Lusk, Chief of the Athletic and Facilities Services Division of the Arlington County Dept. of Parks and Recreation on the new Lubber Run Community Center project.
  Following a discussion, BCCA members may take a vote on whether to support or oppose the project when the County Board considers approving the project at its September meeting.
• A presentation by Linda Kelleher, Executive Director of the Arlington Retirement Housing Corporation on the Culpeper Garden Renovation Plans.
• A discussion on N. Park Drive street lights.
